Chef Nicholas Poulmentis has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Though he originally hails from New York City, Chef Nicholas grew up in Kythira, Greece, and developed a passion for cooking at a young age. He attended Anavysos culinary school in Greece before opting to study at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. After completing his studies, Chef Nicholas took the New York City culinary scene by storm. His sea fare and healthy Mediterranean cuisine is sought after by diners across the city and around the globe.

His many career highlights include cooking for former President Barack Obama at the White House in 2013.

Chef Nicholas is the owner of Cengo, a hotel and restaurant in Kythira, Greece. He is currently the Executive Chef of Akrotiri Taverna, a Greek restaurant in Astoria, NY.
